My Sacred Body
Horny for Life
My sacred body
is a living temple of life
She is hungry for love
and full fat cans of coconut milk
Horny for life,
turned on by the rom-com, drama
sometimes horror movie
that is being human.
She wants to dance barefoot
naked under falling leaves
and scream her orgasms into the river.
My sacred body is tired
exhausted from dragging the heavy boxes
of capitalism’s voice screaming
“You’re only worth as much as you produce”
up the staircase of society
to the non-existent top floor of perfection.
She wants to drop all the heaviest books
out of the heaviness box and cry
“Oops!”
lay flat on the ground
roll around giggling,
smell fresh roses
taste tangerines and
sip Madagascar hot chocolate.
My sacred body hurts
She wants the curve of her spine to unwind
like a slithering snake
shed the green shiny scales of smallness and
unwrap the four extra inches in her twisted spine.
She wants to stand naked in front of God and scream
“Take it all!”
I have nothing to hide
You can see everything already.
What did I ever think I could cover up?
These too broad shoulders people tell me are for swimming?
The cellulite that giggles on my thighs?
Or the way my back curves
like the asymmetrical tree leaning toward the sun?
You made me like this
Just like this
No mistakes
Your work of art.

Such visceral alchemy here Willow ♥️
I love that you, Willow, like my Abi, own your beautiful height. It makes my heart happy! So yes, continue to uncurl that beautiful spine.
